創作概述｜
本作品以「第三空間」的概念與空間展開對話。藝術家選用錄像的方式，記錄了集體記憶與行為的場域，當中包括混雜的文化和象徵權力的標誌。藝術家以萬花筒作為載體，重塑這些被紀錄下來的標誌，通過鏡像複製創造出異質空間。將城市空間重新「拼貼 」，將真實的空間異化成想象。 在VR 虛擬實境中，觀者進入一種「迷」的狀態，異質空間也隨著影像的縮放與移動，在失焦與聚焦之中重新被觀察。觀者從彼端的影像空間中凝視自身（gaze），注視自己所在之處，發現環繞身體的隱形情感，重構自己。
This work starts a dialogue with space based on the concept of "the third space". The artist chooses the format of video to record collective memories and behaviors including mixed cultures and the signs of power. The artist uses a kaleidoscope as a carrier to reshape the signs recorded and create a heterogeneous space through mirroring. City and spaces are “copied and pasted” again, and the reality of spaces is turned into an illusion. Viewers would enter a state of "mysterious" in visual reality (VR), and a heterogeneous space is re-observed when images are zoomed and moved, defocused and focused. From each end of the space, viewers could gaze at and locate themselves, discover the invisible emotions surrounding their body, and thus reconstruct the self.
